Description
The SY8105ADC Step-Down Regulator IC is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converter capable of delivering up to 5A output current. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and integrates high-performance internal switches with very low RDS(ON) to minimize conduction losses.
With a 500 kHz switching frequency, the SY8105ADC allows low output voltage ripple and small external inductor and capacitor sizes. Its instant PWM architecture ensures fast transient response for high step-down applications. The IC also features internal soft-start, cycle-by-cycle peak current limitation, and a precise 1.5% 0.6V reference, making it ideal for portable TVs, set-top boxes, routers, DSL modems, and LCD TVs.
