The MP2617BGL IC – 3A Switching Charger IC is a monolithic switch-mode battery charger IC with power path management, optimized for single-cell Li-ion and Li-Polymer battery applications in a wide range of portable devices, including tablets, smartphones, GPS devices, and e-books. It integrates a synchronous buck regulator to charge the battery while simultaneously powering the system output, ensuring continuous operation even with a missing or deeply discharged battery.
